The clinical psychology stream incorporates comprehensive and continuing efforts to improve mental and behavioural health care for individuals, couples, families, and communities

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The clinical Psychology stream concentrates on theories and treatment methods to address psychological disorders and promote wellness, self-discovery, and personal development. Specifically, this stream covers topics such as developmental psychology, clinical and counselling techniques, evidence-based practice, diagnosis and treatment, psychological disorders, behavioural neuroscience, research methodologies, and more.

LEARNING MODELS

As part of the programme, you will participate in laboratory work in psychodiagnostics, research work, interactive lectures, discussions on specific real-life cases, and give presentations on clinical psychology-related issues.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

The course will take you on a journey through basic Psychology subjects, such as Theories of Personalities, Clinical Psychology, Psychodiagnostics, Psychometrics, Research Methods, Abnormal Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and Biopsychology, as well as more specialised subjects based on your areas of interest, such as Family Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Psychology of Addiction, Psychology of Children with Special Needs, Psychology of Human Sexuality, Community Mental Health, and Current Trends in Clinical Psychology
